classic rendition of the Tantric Buddha Vajrasattva, he whose bounty is omnipresent
as the karmic protector and the Buddha of purification. As depicted in this exemplary
parcel gilded copper and gold bronze statue, the countenance of Vajrasattva conveys
the radiance of youth and spiritual harmony, with a meditative deep gaze he represents
the all-seeing clarity. The vajra and bell in hands symbolize the union of the
male and female principles, with power to cut through illusions and purify negative
emotions. The Buddha is sitting on an oblong lotus plinth that is sealed with
a copper plate. The piece is in very good condition.
