Condition: Paint and gilt, losses, aged condition!
This once gilded and lacquered wood carving of the God of Wealth evidently has been used for home shrine worship
for hundreds of years. Despite of its aged condition, a powerful presence continue to emanating from this small statue.
As the Dharmapala Defender of Faith, he is dressed in Ming robes and armors, and a helmet that may have missing.
Remaining in his left hand, the Dharmapala is holding a gold piece; and a hallowed space in the back of the statue
indicated that it was consecrated with a certain ritual offering.
