A fine bronze casting of Shiva resting on the back of the fierce lion,
he is flanked by a trident, representing his control over the creation, the sustenance,
and the destruction. The wind blown mast of a bending lotus flanks his left side,
in its right is a white trident entwined with a snake. His lower contours are
beautifully etched with swirling pattern, and coupled with other fine details
like his intricate headdress and the panting lion, make for an engaging depiction
of the Hindu god. In excellent condition.
