Minor imperfection, overall in very good condition!
An authentic gold-gilded copper repousse mounted rock crystal Yang Bhum urn sanctified for consecrated relics and worship. The urn is majestically caparisoned with series of hand-chiseled sacred symbols, jeweled with blue emeralds and red ruby on chain links, featuring Eight Auspicious Signs in an ornate Ashtamangala mandala around the rim of a large rock crystal, firmly set on 59 elongated lotus petals wrapping around the base. Pairing with the crystal urn is a stupa-shaped lid atop with a crystal vajra finial, surrounded by four lavishly embellished panels depicting a dragon, a lion, a Garuda, and an elephant. The opulent urn was probably a gift and offering made to a temple at the memorial funeral of a high lama. Although its contents were emptied sometime in the hundred years past. The rare sacred crystal urn upholds its awe-inspiring golden patina of reverence. Well preserved, there is no significant loss other than a missing stone and a filled crack line.
