well cast gilded copper bronze Primordial Buddha Samantahbhadra in deep Tantric
union with his consort Samantabhadri. They are shown in Yab-Yum, the sacred union
of wisdom and compassion. The supple female Samantabhadri arches up towards Samantabhadra,
meeting his penetrating gaze, his arms wrap around her in dhyana mudra. As the
embodiment of compassion he embraces her transcendent wisdom. Unadorned, together
they are shown here in divine bliss.
