minor age cracks, overall very good Two
powerfully carved Japanese tree frogs facing opposite sides on a lotus leaf, squatting
with hands resting on their knees in meditating posture, the eyes inlaid in black
and red corals, highly polished to a reflective finish, signed underneath in an
irregular reserve, a rare late 18th to early 19th-century sumo netsuke. Two minor
age cracks on the lotus leaf, otherwise in very good condition.
