An early 20th Century Chinese rosewood carving, featuring two vigorously carved Water Dragons, flolicking beneath the stylized sea mist, splashing and spraying water, roaring with open jaws in competition for the wisdom pearl. The rosewood statue is stained to a reddish ebony hue, the heavy and dense wood has been polished to a semi gloss shine. It has a couple of small splits due to its age, otherwise well preserved with all its original intricacies preside.
