handsome old seal form netsuke with wide leaves enclosing growing pumpkins, which
as gourds partake of auspicious symbolism. Deeply carved with curling tendrils
providing many holes for himotoshi, one large hole on the bottom. Patina of age
darkening the lines and crevices, the surface glossy with wear.
