Seated in dhyanasana on a lotus pedestal, holding a wisdom sword in his right hand, with raised left hand displaying a no-fear abhaya mudra, he is wearing a pleated dhoti, flowing scarf, necklace and bangles, this miniature Bodhisattva of Wisdom has a broad face with serene expression, well carved in rich brown paulownia wood. Signed on the base: Shuyoshi; tentatively once a personal avatar for adulation.
