Pristine white marble antique Chinese Medicine Buddha. Well carved serene Buddha seated on a double lotus throne in meditation posture, holding a medicine bowl of precious healing substances. A sense of purity pervades the unblemished whiteness of the stone. Viewed in a backlit setting, the translucency of the marble creates a luminous glow that emanates from the statue. The left-turning swastika is carved upon the Buddha's body, symbolizing return to the primordial home of consciousness.

Bhaisajyaguru (Chinese: Yoshi) represents the healing aspect of Sakyamuni and offers a powerful method for overcoming the inner sickness of attachment, hatred, and ignorance. Tibetan Buddhism considers the Medicine Buddha empowerment to be the most powerful blessing for awakening the innate healing wisdom that lies within every individual.
